There are many free rigs out there, and some of them are quite all right, but this one I think is the coolest. It's called Andy and is developed by John Doublestein for students at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Here you can download it, and this is John's website.
It's got a lot of great stuff on it; there is only one thing I can't manage to find - puffing/sucking, and the fingers could have a viewport interface, but besides that, it's quite amazing!! I'm planing to do some animation on this baby. Oh, there's a whole family btw, not just one baby... you can easily customize the look of your character, making it look male or female (it kind of looks a little feminine, or child-like... but it's in fact androgynous, and if animated as such, it's not a big problem). Here is a feminine pose to show off the rig's cuteness... see how the boyz don't look boyz, cuz the pose is girly. Hihi. My bad.
