OK, so that out of the way.. small but important change in design direction. The player is no longer farming Glow.. or Power.. by jumping around monsters. I felt like that was not fun and I want a streamlined, fast, action game, I want the player to keep running fwd, find things, get out. It's really important that the game moves fast and fluidly. Power is now easy and fun to collect, you don't have to worry about having enough Power anymore. I even wanted to kill Power as a concept entirely, but I think it's still useful. Shrines, Gates, and Portals need Power, but you will collect it fast and easy, no need to think much about it. It's still there, it's a feature, I think it's fun to collect Glow.. but it has become a secondary challenge.
To make way for the Main Challenges. Creatures and Platforming.
So the next step.. the AI will have to become a more serious threat.
