The idea here is to add more verticality to the level, and some obstacles for Player and monsters. Stuff that's in the way, to annoy you a bit, and maybe put you in a bit of danger at times. : ]
Their positioning is purely procedural, they try to grow around ground margins. So they can be surprising at times.. I will polish this and try to keep weird stuff from happening. Like they're not supposed to spawn in water or in mid air. : ]
And I've added a new type of module: Gates. Cuz why not. I plan to use them rarely.. as an added vertical thing here and there. You pass under them. Like you can pass under bridges, especially if they happen to be above ground, not deadly water..
