Completely random pic.. has nothing to do with Pulp Planet. I was messing around with some high poly modelin' an' retopo an' PBR texturin' an' renderin', trying to understand the PBR workflow outside Unreal. Unreal makes it pretty easy and straightwfd, but PBR can be confusing if things don't just plug-n-play. Also.. I have mostly avoided texturing, for as far as I can remember. I still do. I still hate UVs and try to autoUV everything. For Pulp Planet I planar map - micro-UV everything, the texture ends up covering a tiny UV space, and is being used only as a color palette. Maybe I'll make a small tutorial one day... So anyway, mostly procedural texturing here, I'm amazed how far you can go with just using a mouse. I used the tablet just for modeling bullshitss.. I think it's kinda ironic that a painting tool ends up being used to create geometry, but not for any actual painting. ^ ^
