Not sure where exactly they'd fit, they're not as detailed as life drawings, but also not as "ruff" as gesture drawings. I hit a wall here, like we all do from time to time... I realized I need to draw more if I want to improve my poses in animation, and get more fluidity. So I started doing these "life" drawings (from photos, but not traced!). The red girl, the first drawing here, is my favourite :) Now I'm thinking I should actually do more gesture sketches of various human activities - Walt Stanchfield style. I've been drooling over Glen Keane's Tarzan drawings for a while now, the fluidity of those shapes and how well the animation flows... it's painfully beautiful... and it's a goal, I'm trying to get there ;) Make way, make way, hahahaha!
