The way it works: you find Crystals in the Darkest of Tunnels [Edit: or with Deliveries]. Find a Crystal Blueprint. Find one of those rare Crafting Stones.. It will create a random Avatar for you, often a Special, for every 1 Blueprint and 70 Crystals you've collected. Go to Achievements, in Menus, to find how many Avatars you've unlocked.
The game's philosophy is Minimal and in-game actions and interactions Must Not Be Done in Menus, but as simple as possible, in the World, thru physical action. And sometimes roll-of-the-dice-randomness. So this is the simplest Crafting system ever. There is no economy per se, in game, but there are a few Valuables, like Glow, Pulp, Avatars, Secrets, Lore, now Crystals and Blueprints, even Planets themselves.. in a way. If you die you lose all your Valuables and progress, you only keep the unlocked Pulp Worlds. The story is short and minimal anyway, it's just basic structure for the sake of progression, and you can play thru it again and again. But since the game is procedural, each run is different and unique. Rogue-style.
I've also updated the Life Regen system btw. Raven's Life Stone does not heal e-n-d-l-e-s-s-l-y anymore.. so you can't abuse Raven. The Stone, or Pyramid of Life, now heals only about 60-80% of a fully upgraded life. Differs from Avatar to Avatar, some have more life than others. I've added some Mini-Life-Pyramids you can find in the game now, on most planets. They are fairly rare, and heal less and slower than the Raven Stone.
