I just had the most fruitful conversation about my project, PSEUDO, with my friend Mihaela Bogdan. 1001 bows before her, she's put me on the right track. PSEUDO will suffer some major changes, and I just had the most fabulous idea!!! I'll rethink/rewrite the story on these new coordinates. It's still the same idea at its base, but dressed in a much more elegant coat. Being essentially a dance, its story has to be as simple as possible in its expression, with a focused line, so that the dance can evolve easily. If the line is unmistakably clear, the dance can ornament around that and have a lot of freedom.
So Miha helped me realize the weaknesses of my story, and especially understand why it's confusing as is right now, and we've kind' a shaken the tree from its roots. I sort of managed to put my finger on what's really important in the story, and what's overburdening it, so now... it's cleanup time!!!
